I have seen Subra a few times so far. The first time was at university, and his perfume had a strong alcohol smell. The second time was in Segamat, at a restaurant. He was with some people having lunch. I can’t recall the third time I’ve seen him, i think it was at some temple or religious function.

Personally, as the call is being made to drop veterans from MIC, I think he should not contest in coming elections. It will be hard for SV to drop veterans and then take in Subra.

Gobind: It’s time for me to contest

source

JOHOR BARU: DAP national legal bureau secretary Gobind Singh Deo is undecided on whether to contest a state or parliamentary seat in Johor. But the son of DAP chairman Karpal Singh is certain about one thing – that it is time for him to contest on the party’s ticket.
Given a choice, Gobind Singh, 34, said that he preferred to vie for a parliamentary seat. “But if the (DAP) leadership wants me to stand for a state seat, I will,” he said.

He said his interest in contesting was not due to pressure or coaxing from his famous father, adding that it was his own decision.

MIC delegates were subtly threatened and then cajoled to support BN. However, clips from TV3 and Bernama (Astro Vanavil) news showed a slightly lacklustre applause from the crowd whenever Najib mentioned anything worth clapping. The biggest sound was reserved until he said the government apologises for Padang Temple demolition. » Read more: Promises
