    Keep up the good work.

I have always maintained and still maintain, primary problem to us Indians in Malaysia is MIC. When leaders of our party select the candidates, thats a problem. Thats dictatorial. They will select people who they are indebted to. Usually the kind of people you see in this current election. It is a self serving vicious cycle. So, the only direction MIC can go is from bad to worse. I try to tell this to as many Indians I can find, but no luck so far.

Malaysian Indians in a way are a loyal bunch. MIC is like the husband or wife or a voting person. It is hard to disassociate one self from it. It is our past. It had a very good past. When the British turned their back against us, it was MIC that took us forward with the Malay govt.

Make no mistake, the first govt. of Malaya, was Malay. This metality has never faded away among the Malay politicians.

Malay folks in general have been very kind to us compared to what’s going on in other countries, including neighboring countries, except for Singapore.

MIC is for the few, for “friends and family” of MIC leaders. Unless it opens up, the vicious cycle of nepotism, corruption, greed will continue.

Finally, make no mistake, the Chinese will only look after themselves. I spend 1/2 my time in the US, 1/3rd of my time in Hong Kong and China, and visit Malaysia often. No one is going to look after us, but us!

Indians need to stick together. We need to FIX MIC. Samy Vellu is corrupt, and greedy. I doubt his greed will ever subside, and I doubt he will ever change. They say you can’t teach old dogs new tricks. This is defintely true with Samy. He is an old dog.

Maybe DAP sounds good right now. Maybe we should vote for DAP. For the long term, maybe MIC has to lose, for it to be rid of croneys and crooks. The re-build it. It is time for a new generation of Indians. Time to give them a voice.

Until the philosophy which hold one race superior
    And another
    Inferior
    Is finally
    And permanently
    Discredited
    And abandoned -
    Everywhere is war -
    Me say war.

    That until there no longer
First class and second class citizens of any nation
Until the colour of a man’s skin
Is of no more significance than the colour of his eyes -
    Me say war.

That until the basic human rights
    Are equally guaranteed to all,
    Without regard to race -
    Dis a war.

    That until that day
    The dream of lasting peace,
    World citizenship
    Rule of international morality
Will remain in but a fleeting illusion to be pursued,
    But never attained -
Now everywhere is war - war.

And until the ignoble and unhappy regimes
that hold our brothers in Angola,
    In Mozambique,
    South Africa
    Sub-human bondage
    Have been toppled,
    Utterly destroyed -
    Well, everywhere is war -
    Me say war.

    War in the east,
    War in the west,
    War up north,
    War down south -
    War - war -
    Rumours of war.
    And until that day,
    The African continent
    Will not know peace,
We Africans will fight - we find it necessary -
And we know we shall win
    As we are confident
    In the victory

    Of good over evil -
