KIMMA refutes PPP statement

I was wondering when KIMMA will issue a response over PPP’s statement that 3000 ex-KIMMA members have joined PPP. Two of them were even given supreme council seats.

KIMMA says only a fraction of 1 percent of its members jumped ship. Well, if KIMMA has 80,000 members as claimed, THAT WOULD MEAN 3.75 PERCENT, not fraction of 1percent.

KIMMA president says the party has not disbanded or merged with others:

“These statements and reports are rejected outright as being unfounded, misleading and baseless. They were obviously (made) with ulterior motives,” said its president Mohd Ali Naina Mohd.

“Kimma has not been disbanded, dissolved or dismembered, nor has it compromised the priciples laid down by its founders by merging with any other political party,” he was quoted as saying by Bernama.

He clarified that an insignificant number of former Kimma members had decided to join a political party but the number did not represent a fraction of one percent of the total membership of Kimma.

Meanwhile, Mohd Ali said Kimma accepted and respected the ex-members’ decision to join another political entity as any democratic party should.

However, he added that the party regarded as mischievous the assumption that its membership could be used to bolster the sagging political influence of certain parties.

Either one or the other is lying. Why is it nowadays we see more leaders lying? Bad upbringing or circumstances?

Opps…KIMMA does it again

Is this another candidate for Malaysian Book of Records? Or maybe Guinness even? Can’t blame these guys for not trying. This time, KIMMA decides to join the protest bandwagon and says that it will organise a protest of 10,000 people (looks like have to close quite a few mamak shops for half day) and hand in memorandum (READ: fill up garbage bin) to PM’s Office. Its president Muhammed Ali Naina Mohd said that they had applied to be Barisan Nasional members five times, but had been rejected every time. Well, that’s pretty obvious. If you are applying for 6th time, it means the last 5 times failed.

It seems that KIMMA is one of the biggest loser since there were no Indian Muslim councillors, senators or MPs from Kimma.

Asked if they had considered joining the Pakatan Rakyat government, the president of KIMMA said it “is under consideration” but they had never applied.

I thought KIMMA is already IN BN by virtue of joining with PPP? KIMMA also asked for bumiputera status, but most likely not entertained.

Following earlier demands by KIMMA for bumiputera status, now something called GEPIMA wants to be known as Malays. Hmmm…first they have to abolish their GEPIMA movement and join some Malay youth movement. KIMMA threatened the government by saying they have 600,000 over members. I wonder how many members GEPIMA has. Also 600,000 or maybe slightly less at 300,000? » Read more: Indian Muslim youths want Malay status

after all the brouhaha over KIMMA joining PPP, now we know KIMMA have a crisis. a person who claims to be President and who was kicked out of KIMMA is the one who made the initial statement.

KIMMA has made its stand that it is ‘100% Muslim party” and would only join UMNO. But isn’t UMNO for Malays only? Why not join MIC? 😆 I mean you can be an Indian and still be a Muslim, no? But you definitely can’t change from an Indian into a Malay overnight. It would take few generations, I guess. » Read more: KIMMA not joining PPP says real president
