Got to give it to the guy. He coolly gave his statement on TV that his prior statements are within the law and in the interest of the public. No way the AG can form a case of treason or sedition, he claims. But he better be aware that in Bolehland anything can happen. The whole country can believe in something, but the decision or action taken by those responsible will be totally opposite. I think its time Karpal make preparations to get out of the country for a short while 🙂

Meanwhile, three police reports were made earlier in the day. One by BN Backbenchers Club, one by a Malay NGO coalition, and the third By Tengku Adnan (UMNO Sec-Gen) after being ordered by PM. The accusers are confident that they have a case against Karpal. PM even said that AG will be making a case soon (shown on TV3 Nightline). Wonder how he decided that when the police have not even started the investigation. » Read more: Karpal under attack

Its going to be tough, being detainees and having to fulfill his responsibilities to a community located nearly 300KM away. Its not impossible, just difficult. If he can pull it off (and I think he can), it will be a slap in the face for some people. With good support from his team and other ADUNs and MPs, Manoharan can keep in touch with his constituents. Kota Alam Shah voters hopefully will benefit from his service.

I have to make a guess here. If the court insisted that the poor lady is to be detained at the rehabilitation center to be brainwashed, it will provoke more anger against those who supported the ruling. Imagine a person who did things contrary to the religion being given consultation to mend her ways and see the true path. It would have been a great comedy indeed! Luckily, the court chose not to make a drama out of the religion. » Read more: Convert allowed to renounce Islam

The last among the 56 Selangor state representatives to be sworn in, the swearing-in ceremony lasted just 10 minutes. Other state representatives of Selangor were sworn in at the Dewan Undangan Negeri in Shah Alam on April 22. » Read more: Welcome YB Manoharan

First it was pillows, then flowers, and now we have postcards.

Not sure since when this coalition came into existence. 100,000 postcards to PM…hmmm..can easily ask the mailroom to remove the postcards and send for recycling, so I doubt this tactic will work. These guys better think of something else than can actually work. » Read more: Postcards for PM to free ISA detainees
