The issue of SJKT Ladang Bukit Jalil first surfaced in October 2007, while the ex-plantation workers’ problem was published in July 2007. The school become famous when it got flooded THREE times within a month. After protests by the parents, Samy Vellu announced the relocation on October 16. In the mean time temporary measures were promised by Sothinathan. However the new proposed site was found to be surrounded by cemeteries! Hmmm…i thought the BERSIH and HINDRAF rallies were supposed to scare off investors. But looks like domestic spending is strong enough to boost the economy and the investors not really worried about these rallies…or perhaps the rally attendees were the ones who boosted the economy with their expenses 🙂 » Read more: GDP grew during HINDRAF rally?

This is the first part of my analysis of the candidacy for 2008 General Elections. Recently, there are words going around that no Indians will be in parliment if people don’t vote for MIC’s candidates (since Gerakan decided no Indian is capable and PPP’s Kayveas is conveniently ignored). I checked through the list of candidates and picked out those seats that are solely contested by Indians.
