New Selangor MB Khalid is making wrong assumption that money can buy anything. Same mistake that the elections candidates from ruling government did, promising more allocations, funds etc. for the marginalised communities…but still got a firm kick in the posterior. Temples to pay RM1 only

Khir Toyo did announce the RM1 quit rent for vernacular schools last year end. Now PKR extends it to temples and places of worships. This is applicable to registered places. Unregistered ones don’t pay anything!  😀 Can we expect the rest of the states to follow this step?

What can we expect now?

The local dailies will be offering more videoblog ala Youtube, setting up blogs and updating news at breakneck speeds. We see The Star as one example of a Internet-embracing media, while Utusan, BH, NST, Sun, tamil dailies lag far behind. NST has been providing video feeds of late. no place for Manoharan in Selangor EXCO list

Even DAP’s senior assemblymen Teng did not get a place, what more of Manoharan. Teng was the opposition assemblyman in previous BN goverment in Selangor, and he did highlight few issues that made him well-known.  I suspect DAP will be soon “forgetting” the HINDRAF effect. » Read more: no place for Manoharan in Selangor EXCO list
