Samy piles pressure on PM

Wonder what Samy was thinking about. Election pledges will take long time to be implemented, probably end of 5 years. Only Pakatan led states are expected to implement their pledges within months, if not days  😆

Probably Samy realises its not easy to get the RM300 million the party is asking for ANNUALLY and starts reminding his boss about it.

Samy would have also noticed that the focus is now on Sabah and Sarawak, and if this goes on, MIC would be left floundering behind. He has to remind the coalition that MIC is still around.

Nalla plots his move

Now, this is interesting. A public meeting arranged between Nalla and PM (5 minutes only). Again, Nalla uses this chance to blast Anwar. In the same breath, he talked about his party MIUP joining BN, even though MIC has always opposed another Indian party joining BN. He says Samy Vellu is like a “guru”. Well, no matter how much he praises his “guru”, “guru” is always smarter than the student.

I was watching on TV the interview with Nalla and realised he mentioned his party as “Malaysian United Party”, and then corrected himself by saying “Malaysian Indian United Party”. Kind of a prominent gaffe shown on prime time.

Stop Using Ketuanan says MCA Ong Tee Keat

Its basic malay that opposite of tuan (master) is pekerja (worker) or hamba (servant/slave). If there’s Ketuanan Melayu, there is no reason why we should not have Ketuanan India or Cina, since PM’s interpretation was different with him relating it to economic success. However, for me, Ketuanan has an negative connotation, thus should not be used. It may serve to drum up support for political parties but if other races resort to their own Ketuanan cries, then political party involved should not complain or make threats of racial unrest.

Information Minister Ahmad Shabeery tries to related this ketuanan (supremacy) with the Sultan and Raja position as reflected in the Federal Constitution. I think that its misleading to relate supremacy with historics. Like it or not, monarchic systems is a dying breed. If not 50 years ago, it would have happened now or maybe in another 50 years. Less and less countries are still retaining their monarchy, demoting them to customary or symbolic roles. My guess is that the Arab states, Malaysia, and other Asian countries will be the last few countries with monarchs in the next 50 years. » Read more: Stop Using Ketuanan says MCA Ong Tee Keat

Karpal under attack

Got to give it to the guy. He coolly gave his statement on TV that his prior statements are within the law and in the interest of the public. No way the AG can form a case of treason or sedition, he claims. But he better be aware that in Bolehland anything can happen. The whole country can believe in something, but the decision or action taken by those responsible will be totally opposite. I think its time Karpal make preparations to get out of the country for a short while 🙂

Meanwhile, three police reports were made earlier in the day. One by BN Backbenchers Club, one by a Malay NGO coalition, and the third By Tengku Adnan (UMNO Sec-Gen) after being ordered by PM. The accusers are confident that they have a case against Karpal. PM even said that AG will be making a case soon (shown on TV3 Nightline). Wonder how he decided that when the police have not even started the investigation. » Read more: Karpal under attack

The little tit-for-tat between Toyo and Samy on the Padang Jawa temple demolition is giving another headache for PM. As expected, he steps in as referee and orders the game to end (sorry, still enjoying Man Utd’s victory over Barca).

Whether his words still got any respect…we shall see soon… » Read more: Stop it says PM
