Last 20 years = RM30 million

9th MP = RM46 million (but not specifically mentioned in the 9th MP)

Last week = RM20 million (is this part of the RM46 million?)

Additionally Rm16.2 million for partially aided schools (is this part of the RM46 million?).

If we total up everything, we get  Rm112 million for the last 20 years and up to end of 9th Malaysian Plan (2010). We can round it up to Rm150 million for those ad-hoc expenses and allocations. So, Rm150/22 years = RM6.8million per year.

After a comedy by MCA Youth, now is the turn of MCA and Gerakan seniors to put up a gig 🙂

Anyway, on analysis, 6 new schools on top of 13 being relocated. Great news for the Chinese community. Now what is MIC going to do? The number of Tamil schools keep on decreasing under the name of “merger” and yet every year we say enrolment is increasing. Maybe we should make it a rule that ALL MIC members must put their kids in Tamil schools, and the members or their children must marry a person from Tamil school only. Now, that will be an interesting rule 🙂 » Read more: 6 new chinese schools, how many tamil schools?

I think this is related to the SMSes flying around among the Indian community (I received it about 5 times). The article in the Star did not mention any details, but the SMS said its SM Anderson, Ipoh and the teacher’s name is Kamaruzaman. In order to avoid blowing up the issue, the news also did not mention that he uttered the words “ini agama syaitan” (referring to Hinduism). Of course this is the students’ word against his, so there’s virtually no way to prove it. » Read more: Apology for agama syaitan?

It said the secondary school students who reached the tape after them were given the prizes instead, prompting parents to lodge a police report against the school administration.  » Read more: no prize for cross country winners for wearing shorts
