Hmm…is it a case of “mudah lupa” syndrome? I think since 500-odd cars participated, looks like a good sign of support. Problem is that the information for convoy only came in late Thursday, and on Friday. A bit late for many people to take part.  Still, 2000 people gathered on a Sunday afternoon. no consensus from BN Youth on HINDRAF 5

While the focus was on “is-it-an-apology-or-not” from Hishamuddin over the keris display, I was attracted to what Vigneswaran said on the discussion about HINDRAF ISA detainees. According to him, no consensus was attained. He said he explained MIC’s stand during the BN Youth meeting. As far as I can recall, MIC, MCA, Gerakan have called for the detainees’ release. Not sure on stand of parties from East Malaysia, and I don’t see a reason for them to oppose. That leave only one culprit. No prizes for guessing why consensus was not reached. Does this mean that the rest of them are there just to make numbers, as we suspected all along?
