Its true that at times we do things that backfire..sort of spit onto your own face. As Islamophobia gains prominence due to actions of some “terrorists” in far-off countries, our fellow countrymen also want to join the fun. Indian speaker for Perak state assembly

Well, I hope it does not turn out to be another dream like 3 Indian EXCOs.  Anyway, I don’t think the speaker has power out of the assembly hall. His job is basically to control the assembly proceedings. Does he chair any committee or take other responsibilities? Being a speaker may well mean that the chosen assemblyman can’t raise any issues or protest since he will be seating as arbitrator in the hall. » Read more: Indian speaker for Perak state assembly
