I’m sure the title attracts you. Who is this Saravanan? I saw the interview with him on TV3 yesterday night. Then was really touched on seeing him talk. We could feel his spirit and enthuasism bursting through. PM gives new pledge to Indians

Surprising that the pledge appeared on Tamil papers only. It covered temples, tamil schools, civil service jobs, help for low income groups, business opportunities, and education. Rather than issuing broad pledges, why not talk about something concrete. At least it can be used as KPI or report card. I love to see the pledge to include “convert 20 schools per year into fully-aided status”, establish special investment fund of RM1billion for the poor, provide housing discount for those earning below RM2k, create special committee for temple management, etc. » Read more: PM gives new pledge to Indians

India’s Blair university to be set up in Perak

IPOH: Perak will get its first foreign university when construction of the RM450mil Premier International University of Perak in Gua Tempurung is completed in 2010. Perak Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Mohamad Tajol Rosli Ghazali said that the university would be set up by India’s Blair Education Services consortium, which has five universities in the subcontinent. » Read more: New University in Perak

 Yesterday we read Samy Vellu mentioning Rm430 million had been spend for education, entrepreneurship, temples etc in the last few years. PM gives more false promise to the Indians

More empty promises from our PM. He says that problems faced by Indian community will be looked after, but clearly the community does not feel so. He used the all to familiar “will” word in saying “This is not just an empty promise but a serious promise that we will carry out”. » Read more: PM gives more false promise to the Indians
