Samy keeps on blaming the “government” since he is out of the cabinet and parliment now. Its like condemning your e-employer or your own ex-business. When you were part of it, it was the best in the world. Only sweet words and praises. Now, you take easy way out and say its their fault. » Read more: MIBA’s Sivakumar condemns Samy Vellu again

Hishamuddin is a gentleman says Samy
April 27th, 2008Samy compares the apology by hishamuddin with the one by japanese emperor over the deaths during WW2. If I’m not mistaken, the Japanese government suffered a lot politically and socially due to the loss in WW2. The country was constitutionally bound not to involve in foreign issues, need to get approval to expand its army, it paid loads of money for the “comfort women”, and is constantly reminded of is crime from time to time. And I can’t recall any conditional apologies being made. But in our local case, the apology is offset with an “if” and looks more like political strategy rather than sincere from the heart. The feeling is that the apology is valueless. Samy is spot on when he says “If we talk further, we don’t respect the apology”! Its just a political move. » Read more: Hishamuddin is a gentleman says Samy

Ministry to channel funds via MARA for Pakatan led states
April 27th, 2008I’m quite surprised to hear this. I thought MARA is mainly (99% or 100%?) for Malay community, so how can funds from the Ministry is channeled to them? Does that mean that the Ministry only have funds for Malays all this while? Or is MARA’s role being expanded?
If it is the first case, that means the SEDC is for certain community only? That is quite bad. Imagine all the none PR states using funds for SEDC for benefit of certain race only. » Read more: Ministry to channel funds via MARA for Pakatan led states
Penang Indian assemblymen under fire
April 26th, 2008Makkal Sakthi bought this people into power. And looks like the same will send them out. The grassroot are not interested in what Anwar or other top leaders say. They see their fellow Indians not given opportunity even though it is claimed to be equal opportunity coalition. Is it because the supporters or loyalist are not qualified? Or any other reasons?
My stand is still the same – best man for the job, nothing else qualifies. If we find the other races getting positions even though not qualified, the for sure the fury from the community will find its way again. » Read more: Penang Indian assemblymen under fire
