MCA condemn Kelantan prince, but no news from MIC

At least MCA is keeping its word of voicing out its community’s concern as part of the strategy to win back the support from the chinese. MCA has been criticised as being lame in the past. Now, they dare to hit back at royalty!

Now, where is the sole champion of the Indian community and his armada of leaders? Too busy with rebranding MIC? Hope Palanivel, S.Subra, Subra, Devamany, Saravanan, Komala, T.Mohan, Murugesan et al can voice out on behalf of the community they are supposed to represent. No point talking behind closed doors any more. Its time to be more vocal and stand up for your community. RM1 quite rent proposed for all schools in Penang

This is indeed a great news if successful. Something that was not done for past 50 years but is finally proposed now. Even though it may not amount to much, but will reduce burden of the schools a bit. Many tamil schools are in estate lands where some management pay the quit rent, while others have to pay themselves. More committees? SV wants PM to chair it …wow! But isn’t that what the cabinet is supposed to do every week, covering all aspect of the country management? Wait a minute, SV mentioned “heads of BN component parties”, meaning must include him as well. We already heard MIC ministers speaking about their new jobs (except Devamany who just mentioned a bit during the MIC meeting). Now the other Indian (from Gerakan) speaks up. Probably since he is in a “multiracial” party, he didn’t have much coverage as MIC fellows.

What Kohilan is proposing is something that Hishamuddin announced just few days before the election. The fund to be set up will be channelled from the plantation firms and is to help the plantation workers’ family and student education.
